Courtland Sutton Sees a Slight Uptick in Production
6 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton's game was supposed to be elevated to new heights following the Broncos decision to trade away Demaryius Thomas, and while that may wind up being the case, Game 1 didn't produce much elevation. Sutton came into this Week 9 matchup against the Texans averaging 4.6 targets, 2.1 receptions, and 40.5 yards per game. Sutton finished the day with five targets, three receptions, and 57 yards. Slight increases across the board, and he did look good despite limited action, but not quite the splash many fantasy owners were hoping for. Sutton and the Broncos catch their bye in Week 10 - leaving us two weeks until we find out what Game 2 in the new role has in store for the promising rookie.
