Courtland Sutton Now the Man in Denver
6 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton has seen his fortunes drastically change over the past few weeks. In a little over a month's time, Sutton has gone from third-option, to the man in Denver following the trade of Demaryius Thomas, and now, the loss of Emmanuel Sanders to a season-ending Achilles tear. Sutton had a four-catch, 85-yard, one-touchdown performance in Week 13 -- his best game of the season -- and now faces a 49ers team in Week 14 which has surrendered five TDs to opposing WRs over their last two games. The underwhelming play of his quarterback Case Keenum limits his appeal, but Sutton appears to be a solid WR2 with plenty of upside heading into this favorable matchup.
