Cory Joseph Questionable For Thursday
3 years agoDetroit Pistons guard Cory Joseph (spine) is listed as questionable for Thursday night's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. He is dealing with a right lumbar spine strain. The 30-year-old has been logging 25 minutes per game in March while averaging 7.9 points, 3.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. If he sits out on Thursday, second-year guard Killian Hayes stands to benefit. Hayes played 33 minutes off the bench in Tuesday's game and racked up 13 points, four rebounds, three assists, four steals and a block. Frank Jackson, Rodney McGruder and newly-signed guard Braxton Key could also see additional playing time if Joseph is out.
