Cory Joseph Might Sit Monday
Cory Joseph (rest) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Honestly, his availability could depend on the status of Killian Hayes (head) who is listed as probable. The Pistons would likely give Joseph the night off, assuming Hayes can play. Otherwise, Joseph could play Monday and have an uptick in value with Hayes sidelined.

Cory Joseph Starting Again On Friday Night
Cory Joseph will start in Friday's game against Minnesota. Jalen Suggs (knee) has already been out. However, with Cole Anthony (toe) and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (rest) unavailable, Joseph will taking over at the one, with Tristan da Silva handling things at the shooting guard position. Joseph was with the first five in Thursday's loss to the Pelicans, finishing with 12 points, six boards, and three assists while shooting 50% from behind the arc. Although Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero should remain the team's top scorers, managers can consider Joseph for DFS lineups.

Cory Joseph And Rodney McGruder Sitting Out Against Kings
Cory Joseph (back) and Rodney McGruder (concussion protocol) will miss the team's preseason contest on Sunday against the Sacramento Kings. Head coach Steve Kerr expects Joseph to be able to play in a preseason game and is hopeful that McGruder can do the same. The latter is already in the later stages of the concussion protocol so his return is closer on the horizon. Both of them are still battling for backup roles, so they'll both need as many opportunities as they can get. Neither one should be fantasy-relevant in any league format.

Cory Joseph Withdraws From Team Canada
Cory Joseph has withdrawn from Team Canada for their World Cup run this year. The 12-year veteran decided to withdraw so that he could focus on preparation for his season with the Warriors. Joseph hasn't been on a playoff team since the 2018-19 season with the Indiana Pacers. So, he could be taking this season very seriously since the Warriors will have championship hopes with their core still in tact this year.

Cory Joseph Out On Thursday
Cory Joseph (back) won't play Thursday versus Brooklyn. The veteran made a good 18-minute cameo Monday versus Milwaukee with five points, three rebounds and seven assists, but he's had a very small role on the team throughout the campaign and Joseph's absence shouldn't have any effect on things. The Pistons have Killian Hayes (shoulder) back on Thursday and he will dictate the proceeding from the backcourt.
