Cory Joseph Dishes Out 11 Assists In Spot Start
5 years agoSacramento Kings point guard Cory Joseph replaced De'Aaron Fox (abdomen) in the starting lineup on Thursday against the Thunder, and he went on to log a productive 35 minutes of action with 11 assists, six points, three steals, and two rebounds. He finished with 3-for-7 shooting from the field in what was his 22nd start of the season. Joseph is averaging 6.2 points, five dimes and 2.9 boards as a starter this season. He could get the nod again on Friday in a good matchup against the Grizzlies, who have given up 23.2 points per 48 minutes to point guards this season. Fox's problem doesn't appear to be serious, but the team could choose to be careful with him.
