Corey Seager To Have Surgery On Hip
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager (elbow, hip) will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left hip on Tuesday. The Dodgers said he should be able to resume baseball activities in January and be ready for Spring Training. Seager is already recovering from Tommy John surgery, and this just adds on to the rehab. While TJ surgery may not have the possible long term effects for position players compared to pitchers, hip surgery is never a good thing. Seager may end up being over-drafted next season due to injury optimism, but that is something to worry about next Spring.
