Corey Seager Slashing .306/.388/.500 In August
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager has been hitting well since returning from a lengthy stay on the injured list in late July. Seager was sidelined for over two months with a fractured right hand. He made his long-awaited return to the Dodgers on July 30. Over 20 games in August, he has slashed .306/.388/.500 with two home runs, eight doubles, 10 RBI and 16 runs. Seager had a career-best year in 2020. Most of his numbers are down this year from last year, but his 2021 numbers still look generally solid. He has a solid xBA of .279, a strong 10% barrel rate and a sturdy 11.2% walk rate on the year.
