Corey Seager Picks Up Three More Hits
1 year agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and a strikeout in a 10-6 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Thursday. Seager picked up a pair of singles in this contest before he unloaded on a Justin Garza offering in the top of the ninth inning, going opposite field over the Green Monster for his 11th home run of the season. The 29-year-old shortstop has been absolutely sensational this season and that's why he's the well-deserved starting shortstop for the American League in the Midsummer classic. Seager owns a crazy .360/.422/.618 batting line to go along with 11 home runs, 51 RBI, and one stolen base over 225 at-bats.
