2 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager isn't in the starting lineup on Wednesday for a matchup with the New York Yankees and right-hander Domingo German. Seager is enjoying a quality first season in Texas, batting .245 with a .317 on-base percentage, 33 home runs, and three stolen bases. He'll head to the bench with Josh Smith stepping in at shortstop and batting fifth. The 24-year-old is hitting .195 with a .304 on-base percentage, two home runs, and four stolen bases in 249 plate appearances for Texas this season.
