Corey Seager Not Starting On Wednesday
2 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager isn't in the starting lineup on Wednesday for a matchup with the New York Yankees and right-hander Domingo German. Seager is enjoying a quality first season in Texas, batting .245 with a .317 on-base percentage, 33 home runs, and three stolen bases. He'll head to the bench with Josh Smith stepping in at shortstop and batting fifth. The 24-year-old is hitting .195 with a .304 on-base percentage, two home runs, and four stolen bases in 249 plate appearances for Texas this season. Fantasy managers in search of streaming options around the infield are probably better off looking elsewhere.
