2 years agoTexas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager (hamstring) is planning to begin a minor league rehab assignment on Thursday. Seager has been sidelined since April 11 with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. It is a good sign that he is nearing a return to action and could be ready to return to the MLB lineup by early next week if everything goes smoothly on the rehab assignment. Seager is hitting .359 with a homer, seven runs, and four RBI across 39 at-bats.--Matt T - RotoBaller
