Corey LaJoie Has A Chance To Contend At Brickyard
1 year agoUsually, Corey LaJoie has qualified in the lower third when it comes to the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. The Spire Motorsports driver begins Sunday from the 14th spot. Both editions of the race have seen LaJoie enjoy place differential in the double digits. Last year, he moved up 13 spots in his No. 7 car. Starting a lot higher this year could be interesting. Does LaJoie have the speed to ride in slightly more dirty air? LaJoie's best finish on a road course was 11th. A top ten has to be considered at least possible on Sunday.
