Corey Lajoie A Strong Sleeper Option This Weekend
2 years agoMore eyes than normal will be on Corey Lajoie this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, as we return to the track where he almost won last summer's race. In that event, LaJoie finished 10th in Stage 2 and led for a total of 19 laps before getting into the wall due to a block by eventual race winner Chase Elliott. In the spring race, Lajoie ended up finishing 5th after charging to the front in the closing laps of the race. Lajoie has always been a strong superspeedway racer, and the new configurement of Atlanta Motor Speedway plays into his strengths. He will start from 31st for Sunday's Ambetter Health 400, which makes him a great daily fantasy pick as well.
