Corey Kluber Lasts Seven Innings in Saturday's Win
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber earned a win in Game 1 of Saturday's double header, tossing seven innings. He allowed four runs on five hits and two walks, striking out eight. Kluber allowed individual runs in the first and third innings, then a pair of runs in the seventh. Despite not earning the quality start stat in this one, it was quality work from Kluber and certainly a good sign after his previous rough outing. He'll take a 2-2 record and a 5.88 ERA into his next start.
