Corey Kluber Has Cast Removed
6 years agoCleveland Indians starting pitcher Corey Kluber (forearm) had his cast removed on Thursday. This is a good sign for the former Cy Young winner, as it shows his healing is progressing well. Kluber has been out of action since being hit in the arm with a comebacker on May 1. Through seven starts before the injury, Kluber saw mixed results with a 2-3 record and ERA of 5.80. However, Kluber's FIP of 3.92 shows there was some bad luck in his results, and he can hopefully move back to his normal self upon his return. The Indians will re-evaluate Kluber in two weeks and we should have a clearer timetable for his return after that.
