Corey Conners heads to his home country to contend for the RBC Canadian Open. He is having his best putting year on tour, gaining +0.11 so far this season. He is also gaining around the greens for the first time since turning pro. With a rejuvenated short game aiding his impeccable ball striking there is little to be concerned about heading into the week. He will be a popular play and his high ownership is justified by his recent play. Whether or not he can withstand the pressure of winning a Canadian Open, remains to be seen. --Byron Lindeque

Corey Conners is having a heck of a 2025 season thus far. He has five top 10 finishes and has placed eighth or better in four of his last six starts. This week's Truist Championship is being held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club instead of the normal Quail Hollow. The course is playing at just 7,119 yards, and approach game from 100-150 yards will be crucial for players to be in contention. Conners is notoriously known as an elite ball striker and iron player, where he ranks 65th (+0.189) in strokes gained approach to green. He ranks even better from 125-150 yards (29th), which could make him a solid play in both fantasy and betting formats this week. --Jake Walker - RotoBaller

Corey Conners was in contention at The Masters for much of the week but ultimately faltered on Sunday, recording a T8 finish. Still, he extended his top-25 streak to six events, including four top-eight results. He'll look to carry that momentum into this week's RBC Heritage, an event he's played eight times, making five straight cuts and earning three top-25 finishes. To continue finding success at Harbour Town, Conners will need to stay accurate off the tee and sharp on approach, two areas where he consistently excels. He ranks 17th in driving accuracy and sits in the 98th percentile in proximity from 150–200 yards, a key range given that 42.5% of all approach shots came from that distance last year. It's a loaded DFS board this week at the top, but Conners warrants serious consideration at his $9,800 price tag on DraftKings.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller

It has been a quality run of golf for Corey Conners since leaving the West Coast, with finishes of third,T6,T8 and T18 over his last four starts. This is even more impressive, considering the weather has been a major contributor in the previous few events. The ball-striking prowess we've come to expect hasn't been as strong of a force because of it, which has forced him to play better on and around the greens. Over his last five starts, the 33-year-old is averaging 0.54 strokes gained putting and 0.482 around the green. If that level of play continues and his iron play remains strong, he'll be a strong dark-horse candidate at $9,800 on FanDuel.--Todd McGill - RotoBaller

Corey Conners has been on a tear in recent weeks, recording three straight top-eight finishes while gaining strokes across all areas of his game. He looks to continue this excellent form at the Valero Texas Open, an event he has won twice -- in 2019 and 2023. In addition to his victories, Conners has made the cut in all six of his prior appearances, finishing no worse than T35. During his two wins, Conners gained over  29 combined strokes from tee to green, an area where he continues to excel. He currently ranks 36th in stokes gained from tee to green, gaining 0.647 strokes per round. He is also 27th in total strokes gained (0.840 per round), 20th off the tee (0.453), and 18th in greens in regulation (70.56%). He is also in the 78th percentile in greens in regulation from 200-plus yards, an area that accounted for 28.7% of all approach shots here last year. Conners is sure to be a popular pick this week, and at a price tag of $10,100 on DraftKings, he's certainly worth strong consideration from fantasy managers given his recent play and impressive course history.--Dakota Legg - RotoBaller
