Corey Clement Sprains Knee Against Cowboys
6 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Corey Clement (knee) is believed to have suffered a knee sprain in the Week 14 loss to the Cowboys, according to a source. He will undergo an MRI exam Monday to confirm it, but the team is hoping it's not as bad as it looked. Knee sprains often sidelined players for at least several weeks, so if the MRI confirms a sprain, there's a chance Clement could be out for the final three games of the regular season. That'd be good news for Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood in the pass-catching role behind rookie Josh Adams. Sproles would be the more attractive PPR option, as he's scored touchdowns in each of the last two games after having not played since the season opener.
