Corey Brewer Committed to Thunder
7 years agoFree-agent guard/forward Corey Brewer has committed to join the Oklahoma City Thunder once he clears waivers. He reached a buyout with the Los Angeles Lakers and was linked to three Eastern Conference teams as well. Brewer has made up his mind after speaking with Thunder head coach Billy Donovan and general manager Sam Presti. Brewer immediately strengthens the Thunder's second unit. Terrance Ferguson, Josh Huestis and Alex Abrines will all lose value from this signing. Brewer won't offer enough upside to be owned in standard leagues, but he could be worth a look in deeper leagues depending on his role.

LaMelo Ball Probable Versus The Knicks
10 hours agoCharlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (wrist) is expected to play on Thursday versus the Knicks. Statistically, the 23-year-old has had a fantastic 2024-25 campaign, averaging a career-high 25.4 points with 7.2 assists, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.2 steals. However, as has been the case over the years, he's missed time due to various injuries, limiting him to only 44 games. Ball was most recently sidelined for Tuesday's loss to the Atlanta Hawks, paving the way for Damion Baugh to enter the starting lineup and finish with 11 points, nine boards, five assists, and one steal. Yet, Baugh won't see much attention from fantasy managers if Ball officially gets the green light. That will still apply if Miles Bridges (illness) misses another contest.

Gary Trent Jr. Considered Probable For Thursday
10 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks guard/forward Gary Trent Jr. (knee) is regarded as probable for Thursday's meeting with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is on the injury report with left patella tendinopathy. However, it is only a minor ailment, and Trent Jr. is expected to play on Thursday. When he gets the official clearance, Trent Jr. will attempt to stretch a scoring streak of 10-plus points to five games. It would be his second-longest such streak of the season. If he suffers a significant setback that takes him out of the lineup, the Bucks will look to receive greater contributions from AJ Green and Kevin Porter Jr.

Damian Lillard Likely To Suit Up Against Lakers
10 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard (groin) is expected to be in the lineup on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers, as the team lists him as probable on the injury report. A sore groin has not prevented Lillard from being in the lineup throughout the month, and he is likely to play through the injury again on Thursday. Lillard has been experiencing a small scoring slump recently, finishing back-to-back games with fewer than 20 points. This season, he has had only one three-game streak of scoring under 20 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Probable For Thursday's Clash Against Lakers
10 hours agoMilwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) has been listed as probable for Thursday's tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers. Antetokounmpo is expected to make a 16th consecutive appearance despite dealing with right patella tendinopathy. Milwaukee's leading man has been a bit quiet in the scoring department for a couple of games, yet Antetokounmpo continues to fill up the stat sheet. Last time out against the Golden State Warriors, he had 20 points with nine rebounds, seven assists, two blocks, and three steals.
