Cordarrelle Patterson A Low-End Flex
3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson will take on the Giants in Week 3. Patterson handled a season-high 12 touches last week, tallying 69 scrimmage yards with two touchdowns in his team's loss to Tampa Bay. The 30-year-old was on the field for 33 percent of the snaps, a number that paled in comparison to fellow backfield mate Mike Davis. Still, Patterson's role as the change-of-pace back could have some sneaky value this week against a Giants defense that allowed the 13th-most receptions to halfbacks last year. The 30-year-old shouldn't be started over those in the RB2 ranks but could make for a solid flex play in Week 3.
