Corbin Burnes Strikes Out Five In No Decision
4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers pitcher Corbin Burnes pitched five innings against Minnesota on Tuesday, allowing one run on two hits and three walks while striking out five. He did not factor into the decision. Burnes started for the first time since July 25th and was effective for the most part, limiting a potent Minnesota offense to one run and five baserunners in five innings. If Burnes get another turn in the rotation it is expected to come on the road against Pittsburgh on Sunday. He's a viable spot starter as long as he sticks in the rotation. His strikeout upside certainly help his fantasy chances.
