Corbin Burnes Looks For Redemption Against Pirates
3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Corbin Burnes will toe the rubber in a Thursday matchup against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The 26-year-old was chased after four innings back on June 12 to the tune of nine hits, three walks and four runs (three earned). The start represented a season-worst 35.0 game score for Burnes. The Brewers co-ace, along with Brandon Woodruff, carries a 3-4 record with a 2.53 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 1.19 FIP and 13.9 K/9 over 74 2/3 innings into his Thursday start. Expect Burnes to dominate, as the Pirates rank dead-last in homers and 29th in runs and RBI on the season.
