4 years agoMilwaukee Brewers right-handed pitcher Corbin Burnes has pitched once out relief and once out of the starting rotation this season. Where will his next appearance come? Manager Craig Counsell won’t say. Citing it to be in the club’s interest to not announce when Burnes is pitching, owners are left in flux as to what kind of fantasy option Burnes is in 2020. After posting a solid 2.61 ERA in 2018 out of relief, he became a strikeout fiend in ‘19 with 70 K’s in 49 IP. If Milwaukee could get that level of production into its rotation, Burnes would be a sought-after commodity; but in the wake of Counsell’s latest update, owners will likely be forced to operate on a game-by-game basis as it pertains to the right-hander.--Jesse Borek
