Cooper Kupp Trending Into WR1 Territory
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp appears to be entering into WR1 territory after three consecutive weeks of strong performances, including an 11-catch, 101-yard night against the Cleveland Browns. Kupp continues to lead the team in all statistical receiving categories, thanks to his strong rapport with quarterback Jared Goff. In Week 4, Kupp and the Rams will face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team that just gave up over 300 passing yards to Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones in Week 3. While the Buccaneers have significantly improved their pass rush and defensive play-calling with the arrival of new defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, there remain significant concerns about their secondary. Kupp’s strong route-running and extraordinary breakaway speed should set the table for the third-year wideout to continue his incredible season. Kupp, at the moment, has the highest floor and ceiling of all Rams receivers. Lock him in as low-end WR1 for Week 4.
