Cooper Kupp To Have Surgery, Be Placed On Injured Reserve
Cooper Kupp (ankle) is scheduled to have ankle surgery on Wednesday, and the team is placing him on Injured Reserve, according to head coach Sean McVay. Kupp will have to miss at least four games, and with the way the Rams season is going, it could be longer. The 29-year-old All-Pro pass-catcher is dealing with a pretty serious high-ankle sprain, and he's now unlikely to help his fantasy managers before the fantasy playoffs, if at all the rest of the 2022 season. With the Rams looking likely to miss the postseason, there's a chance they could end up shutting Kupp down altogether. He needs to be stashed in all fantasy leagues until we have a better idea of his timetable. Moving forward, Allen Robinson II, Van Jefferson and Ben Skowronek become more valuable in fantasy, as well as tight end Tyler Higbee.
