Cooper Kupp Picks Up Where He Left Off
5 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp caught seven passes on 10 targets for 46 yards in the team’s 30-27 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Making his regular season return after last year’s season-ending ACL tear, Kupp was quarterback Jared Goff’s favorite target early in the game with four receptions on the very first drive. The third-year wide receiver displayed no rust in his return and is a high-end WR2 in PPR leagues. However, the lack of touchdowns and yardage will be frustrating for fantasy owners in standard leagues. Goff should have more passing yards in the future (only 186 yards during Week 1), so Kupp’s receiving totals on Sunday could be viewed as his floor.
