Cooper Kupp Feeling "Pretty Good" After Ankle Injury
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle) injured his right ankle late in Sunday's loss to the 49ers. The wideout was visibly limping and had it taped during the postgame news conference. Fortunately, Kupp reported he feels "pretty good right now," while adding, "things are pointing towards dodging a bullet." Besides the injury, he looked good in Week 8, finishing with eight catches for 79 yards. He also scored a touchdown, finding the end zone off a 16-yard throw from Matthew Stafford in the second quarter. Fantasy managers should anticipate the 29-year-old to sit out a few practices throughout the week. However, if Kupp can't go in Week 9 versus the Buccaneers, Allen Robinson II and Van Jefferson will need to step up. Tyler Higbee, who briefly exited on Sunday due to a neck injury but returned, would also get more involved.
