Consider Justin Haley As A Top Sonoma Value Pick
6 months agoRick Ware Racing driver Justin Haley will start this week's Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway from the 27th position. This is Haley's lowest starting position at Sonoma since the Next-Gen car was introduced in 2022. In three previous races at the California road course, Haley has two finishes with positive place differential and a best finish of 12th. Through 15 races this year, Haley has five top-20 finishes, including three of the last four. In practice, Haley ranked 34th in five consecutive averages and 15th in overall lap averages. Considering Haley's place-differential upside from his starting position, along with his cheap salary, he must be considered as a start in all DFS formats, especially since he is capable of placing in the top 20 this week.
