Conor Sheary Scores Fifth Goal Of The Season
4 years agoWashington Capitals winger Conor Sheary lit the lamp for the fifth time this year in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Pittsburgh. He put the Capitals 2-1 up in the contest after Richard Panik had notched Washington's first. Sheary has seen very little success in Washington since coming over from Pittsburgh, but he has started to show signs of life in recent outings with three goals in five games. He has battled his way to Evgeny Kuznetsov's line and is nicely set up for a fruitful period. The 28-year-old speedster has another revenge game against the Penguins on Thursday and will then face New Jersey in back-to-back matchups to finish off the week.
