Connor Seabold Shut Down With Pectoral Injury
3 years agoBoston Red Sox pitching prospect Connor Seabold (chest) was scratched from his start at Triple-A on Friday. He has been shut down from throwing due to a pectoral injury. However, Red Sox manager Alex Cora stated that the team doesn't think the injury is serious. The 26-year-old is ranked as the team's 14th overall prospect by MLB Pipeline. He made his MLB debut last year, appearing in just one game. This year at Triple-A, he's gone 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA and a 0.93 WHIP over seven starts.
