Connor Norby Eyeing 30 Home Runs
15 seconds agoMiami Marlins second baseman/third baseman Connor Norby is eyeing to hit 30 home runs during the 2025 campaign. The 24-year-old is slated to be Miami's everyday third baseman during the upcoming season. He made his MLB debut last summer. During his first 45 MLB contests, Norby went deep nine times and held a .236/.294/.438. However, once he joined Miami, after being traded from Baltimore, he posted a higher .247/.315/.445 slash line. Under the hood, he generated a strong 14.8 percent barrel rate and a 47.0 percent sweet spot rate. However, he did strike out at a hefty 33.0 percent rate. Across 247 career games at Triple-A, Norby has held a strong .497 SLG. Fantasy managers should expect Norby to have an everyday role in an MLB lineup for the first time in his career, which makes him an intriguing late-round middle infield option.
