Connor Joe To Miss The Rest Of The Season
3 years agoOn Wednesday, the Colorado Rockies announced that outfielder Connor Joe (hamstring) will not return this season. Joe suffered a hamstring strain on September 3 and he landed on the injured list shortly after. The 29-year-old rookie was extremely productive in his first opportunity with the Rockies. Over 63 games, he slashed .285/.379/.469 with eight home runs, 35 RBI and 23 runs. He served as the team's primary leadoff hitter for a while in August and early September. He'll look to compete for a starting outfield role with the team in 2022.
