18 seconds agoWinnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck stopped 17 of the 18 shots he faced en route to defeating the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday evening. Hellebuyck's lone blemish came in the final frame off a power-play goal by winger Michael Bunting. The Jets dominated play through most of the game, but the 31-year-old netminder was sharp when he was called upon. Since the start of the month, Hellebuyck has carried an impressive 7-1 record with a solid .925 SV% and a 2.13 GAA. He only allowed more than three goals in two of these starts and logged two shutouts in this span. Through 16 games this season, the star netminder sits with a stellar .924 SV% and 2.13 GAA, and a near-perfect 14-2 record.
