Hellebuyck had an outstanding regular season, ranking second in Jets history for wins in a season with a 37-25-2 record, a 2.49 goals-against-average, and a .920 save percentage. He has played in 35 previous playoff games and posted a 16-19-0 record, a 2.46 goals-against-average, and a .921 save percentage in four postseasons.
