Commanders Expected To Be Aggressive This Offseason On Defensive Side
1 min agoESPN's Dan Graziano expects the Washington Commanders to be aggressive this offseason in pursuing upgrades on defense after they were able to reach the NFC Championship with rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels. The Commanders know they have something special in Daniels and want to maximize his rookie-contract window. If the Cleveland Browns decide to trade disgruntled All-Pro pass-rusher Myles Garrett eventually, the Commanders are one team that could go all out to acquire him. If it's not Garrett, the Commanders will still likely go after an impact player or two this offseason as they look to improve their defense, which was a weakness in 2024 -- Washington's defense ranked 19th in defensive EPA this year.
