Commanders Defense Comes Up Big In Season Finale
2 years agoThe Washington Commanders defense had a strong performance to close out the season. In Week 18 against the Dallas Cowboys, the defense allowed just six points while racking up one sack. Their unit also forced two turnovers. One on a muffed punt in the first quarter and the other on a 29-yard pick-six by cornerback Kendall Fuller in the second quarter to lead their team to an unlikely victory over their division rival. Washington's defense had a strong end to the season, and with the talented unit expected to be fully healthy by the start of next season, they could be one of the more feared groups in football.
