Colts Head Coach "Fine with Running Back by Committee"
7 years agoIn response to a question about the lack of a true lead back on the roster, Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich told the media that he is fine with a committee at the running back position, per Stephen Holder of the Indy Star. The Colts did draft two running backs in the mid to late rounds of the NFL Draft, but neither project as a clear No. 1 bell-cow. Marlon Mack looks to be first in line for lead-back duties and could be fantasy relevant if quarterback Andrew Luck returns, but the free-agent market still boasts plenty of talented rushers, including C.J. Anderson and DeMarco Murray.
