Colts Fire Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley
18 hours agoThe Indianapolis Colts fired defensive coordinator Gus Bradley on Monday. Bradley served as the team's defensive coordinator the last three seasons. He's been a defensive coordinator or a head coach since 2009 in the NFL. Bradley was the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2013-16 and joined the Colts in 2022 when Frank Reich was the head coach. The Colts defense had plenty of issues in 2024 under Bradley and finished 29th in total defense while allowing 361.2 yards per game. Bradley was also the defensive coordinator with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2021 and for the Los Angeles Chargers from 2017-20. It's unclear if Bradley will receive interest around the league this offseason as he looks for another coaching position in the NFL. The Colts finished a disappointing 8-9 this year and missed the playoffs for the fourth straight year.
