6 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts believe that running back Marlon Mack is a bell-cow No. 1 back and would like him to continue leading their committee approach in 2019, which is also why the team didn't really pursue Le'Veon Bell on the open market. Mack finished last year with 908 rushing yards on 195 carries (4.66 yards per carry) in just 12 games (10 starts). He was able to reach 100 yards in four of those games. “We think a lot of Marlon Mack,” general manager Chris Ballard said. “We think he can play on all three downs. We think he can carry the load.” Behind an excellent offensive line in an offense on the rise, Mack is making a case to be in the RB1 picture in 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
