2 years agoThe Indianapolis Colts moved up to select wide receiver Josh Downs out of North Carolina with the No. 79 overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft on Friday night. After surprising some at No. 4 overall by drafting Anthony Richardson, the team decided to add a new weapon for their future signal-caller. They already boast a strong duo in Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce but lack depth beyond those two, creating an opportunity for Downs. He's a different style pass-catcher than Pittman and Pierce at five-foot-nine, 171 pounds, offering them more versatility and speed.--Josh Constantinou - RotoBaller
