Colt McCoy Struggles Against 49ers
2 years agoArizona Cardinals quarterback Colt McCoy went 24-of-34 passing for 218 yards, zero touchdowns, and one interception while adding three carries for six yards rushing in their 38-10 loss to the 49ers on Monday night. The veteran signal-caller faced a lot of pressure, forcing him to make quick throws, averaging 6.4 yards per attempt. The running game was non-existent, enabling the defense to focus solely on shutting down the passing attack. The 36-year-old has now made back-to-back starts in place of Kyler Murray (hamstring), whose status for Week 12 is yet to be determined. McCoy is talented enough to sustain the weapons around him for fantasy football but does not possess much appeal in single-quarterback formats.
