Colt McCoy Predictably Struggles Against Patriots
5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Colt McCoy completed 18 of 27 passes for 119 yards, no touchdowns, and an interception in Sunday's loss to New England. The Redskins are very obviously the worst team in the NFC, and with their season already over at 0-5, there is no justifiable reason for the coaching staff not to roll with Dwayne Haskins going forward. Should McCoy retain the starting job for another week, he'll get to take on the AFC's worst team in the Dolphins. On that note, the Dolphins represent a fine matchup in which to officially turn the keys over to Haskins. Regardless of how this situation unfolds in the coming days, McCoy is about as far off the fantasy radar as can be.
