Colt Keith Cools Off In Second Half
1 year agoDetroit Tigers prospect Colt Keith has cooled off after a blistering first half of the season. In 27 games since July 1, the third baseman slashed .235/.310/.353 and hit just one home run. While the 21-year-old has struggled over the past two months, his overall numbers for the season are still impressive at .307/.376/.535 and 15 HRs in 407 plate appearances. The inconsistency suggests that more time on the farm is necessary. If Keith can right the ship over the remainder of the season, he could earn a spot as Detroit's Opening Day third baseman in 2024. Fantasy managers should take advantage of buy-low opportunities as he remains a top-15 dynasty prospect.
