Collin Sexton Scores Team-High 22 Points In Tuesday's Loss
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers point guard Collin Sexton was the only bright spot for the team in Tuesday's blowout loss to Detroit, scoring a team-high 22 points on good 8-for-16 efficiency. He also had four rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals. The second-year guard is averaging only 2.5 assists for the season, but he's done a much better job moving the ball in recent outings, upping his average output to 4.7 assists across the last three games. He was the team's biggest offensive threat on Tuesday even with Kevin Love playing. There's a good matchup next for Sexton against the Magic, who tend to struggle against point guards. The Cavs guard has averaged 18 points, 4.5 rebounds and four assists against them in two previous matchups this season.
