Colin Rea Twirls Gem Against Blue Jays
6 months agoMilwaukee Brewers right-hander Colin Rea allowed one run on three hits across seven strong innings during Monday's 3-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. He struck out four batters without issuing a walk. It was one of the best starts of the season for the 33-year-old and improved his record to 5-2. Despite the success, Rea looks like a prime regression candidate. His 3.31 ERA is a long way off from his 5.56 xERA and he only has a 15.8 K% across 70 2/3 innings. He is best suited to be a streaming option in most leagues as he heads into a matchup with the Cincinnati Reds on the weekend.
