Colin Moran’s Initial Imaging Comes Back Clean
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates infielder Colin Moran's (wrist) initial imaging came back clean. "The initial imaging was clean, so I think we'll go with that until something feels differently or until we need to do something else," said manager Derek Shelton. The 28-year-old was hit by a pitch on the left wrist Monday. He was out of the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Rockies. Moran appears to have avoided a serious injury and is considered day-to-day. The Pirates infielder is slashing .280/.346/.414 with four home runs, 23 RBI, 11 runs scored, and one stolen base across 174 plate appearances in 2021. Phillip Evans will continue to handle first base duties while Moran is sidelined.
