Colin Moran Homers In Second Straight Game Monday
4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates first baseman Colin Moran hit his second homer in as many days on Monday, as he went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-3 loss to the Reds. Moran is showing off the power early this year, with three of his five hits going for extra-bases while sporting a .857 slugging percentage in four games. Moran has previously displayed 10 to 15-homer potential with Pittsburgh, but he saw a power surge in 2020 by hitting 10 home runs and posting a .472 slugging percentage in 52 games. If he continues to swing the bat like this, Moran will be an interesting option in NL-only or deep-mixed leagues as a corner infielder option.
