Colin Blackwell, Rangers Perfectly Placed For Another Good Week
4 years agoNew York Rangers winger Colin Blackwell went into Sunday's clash with the Islanders having scored four goals in five games and his good run of form should continue next week as the Blueshirts square off with the Devils four times. New Jersey has the fourth-fewest wins in the league and waved the white flag this week by trading Kyle Palmieri and Travis Zajac. The Rangers scored six goals against them in both of the last two meetings, and there will certainly be chances for more here with the Devils owning a league-worst 71.7 percent penalty kill. Blackwell skates on New York's second power-play unit and on the second line with Ryan Strome, who's been consistently putting points on the board for a month now, and Artemi Panarin, who averages the third-most points per game in the league. Kaapo Kakko has also quietly been productive in recent games and could have success against New Jersey, and even Alexis Lafrenière might help a few fantasy managers out after picking up some momentum lately.
