Cole Kmet Salvages Day With A Touchdown Despite Limited Usage In Week 16
2 days agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet continues to struggle to see targets in the passing game, though he succeeded in reaching the end zone in Sunday's 34-17 loss to the Detroit Lions. The 25-year-old brought in a one-yard touchdown in the first half of the game, which was one of his just two receptions for nine yards receiving. Kmet remains a boom-or-bust play at tight end as he is getting increasingly phased out of the offense since the team changed coaches mid-season. The former second-round pick hopes to get more involved within the offense as the Bears prepare to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday. With the lack of usage recently, Kmet is mainly a TE streamer in deep league formats for Week 17.
