Cole Kmet Returns To Practice Thursday
1 year agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (undisclosed) left Wednesday's practice early but is already back on the field for Thursday's session. The Notre Dame alum recently signed a four-year, $50 million extension with $32 million guaranteed after leading the team in receptions (50), receiving yards (544), and receiving touchdowns (seven). In 2023, he could be a sneaky contender to finish as a high-end TE1 if Justin Fields develops as a passer and the Bears' offense ascends. However, Kmet is usually available after the first dozen tight ends are selected in preseason fantasy drafts, so he's viewed as a high-end TE2 for now.
