Cole Kmet Misses Practice Thursday
3 years agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet (illness) did not take part in practice on Thursday due to a non-COVID-19-related illness. There is a non-COVID illness going around the Bears locker room this week, as eight players, including Kmet, were out sick on Thursday. If Kmet is able to practice at some point in the next few days, he should be good enough to play on Monday night against the Minnesota Vikings, where he'll be a TE2 in Chicago's low-volume passing attack. The 22-year-old second-year tight end is still looking for his first touchdown of the season and has more than four catches in only four of 13 games. The Vikings defense has been more vulnerable to tight ends of late, but Kmet just isn't utilized enough on a weekly basis to be in the streaming conversation.
