1 year agoChicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet has notched two consecutive top-six tight end performances in PPR leagues. He's coming off an impressive showing with six catches, 55 yards, and two touchdowns in the Bears' recent 24-17 loss to the Saints. Although he initially missed practice due to a knee injury, the Notre Dame alum swiftly returned to full practice and shed his injury designation. However, the status of starting quarterback Justin Fields (thumb) remains questionable, with Tyson Bagent as the replacement if he cannot go. Kmet has demonstrated the ability to produce solid numbers with either quarterback, but his ceiling is slightly higher if Fields is able to play. It's worth noting that the Panthers have allowed the sixth-fewest PPR points per game to tight ends this season.
